Our Motto: Learn, Think, Act

SungBok Mission School is an institution that believes in the holistic development of its students as a christian. We nurture our students in the fear of the Lord while sharpening their academic prowess as well as their physical and mental development with our Taekwondo classes.

S

ungBok Mission School(SMS) was founded by Rev. Lee Tae Hee with Rev. Sejin Choi and Rev. Deborah Hong as Co-Founders within Love Ghana Mission, a non-governmental entity registered under the laws of Ghana.
The missionary couple were sent to Ghana by the Sungbok Presbyterian Church of Seoul Korea, to establish churches and schools for Christian education.

SMS was opened on January 16, 2023 to begin the 2023 academic year under the GES curriculum. The school began with 22 teaching staff and 8 non-teaching staff, exclusive of the founders.

A week to the opening of the school, Rev. Sejin Choi went to be with the Lord, having been hospitalized for a few weeks. May his soul rest in peace.

Rev. Deborah Hong determined to pursue the and vision of her late husband, and therefore, relentlessly admitted 57 learners on the first day of SMS. Children are admitted from Crèche to JHS 2.
